Campaigns

The Low Commission is not a campaigning organisation as such. However many of our stakeholders, including bodies representing advice providers, are active campaigners around access to justice and advice. And as the Commission moves into phase two of its work, we will become increasingly engaged with public campaigning and political engagement to influence the policy prospectus for public advice and legal support services in the run up to the General Election and beyond into the next Parliament.

In our public engagement and policy influencing work we stress that the Commission is independent, politically impartial and operates and functions at arms length from any of the provider bodies or consumer groups. Our priority is the public interest.
