There’s not been much blogging or news items up on this site over the last month, but the Low Commission have been working hard on a number of fronts. So for a brief update:-

• We have set up open meetings at a1l 3 Party Conferences with Ministers and Shadow Ministers
• We have formed a Partnership with leading Public Affairs Company WeberShandwick to promote our proposals
• We are working with the Advice Services Alliance and others on a major project on Health and Advice (and the role of advice services within the Health and Social care economy)
• We have responded on a number of key Government consultations from third sector sustainability, to advice under the Care Act, and also on the future of the Money Advice Service
• We are surveying welfare rights advisers and agencies over their experiences of DWP decisions, reconsiderations and appeals for a major new report, see https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DX2NG7S
